Why "EBY"
Ebey Slough is the tidal waterway that winds past Lake Stevens on its way to Puget Sound — part of the landscape here for a lot longer than any of us. We named the company for it because it's local, it's about water, and it's easy to remember. Three letters, no fuss.
How we price
Most plumber pricing stories go like this: an hourly rate, a vague estimate, and a final bill that grew while you weren't looking. We do it differently. You hear one flat number before any work starts. You say yes or no. If you say yes, that's the number on the invoice — even if the job takes longer than expected. That's our problem, not yours.
What we believe
- Show up when we say we will. And call if we're running late.
- Explain it plainly. You'll understand what's wrong, what we're doing, and why — in normal words.
- Tell you when it's not worth fixing. If a repair is throwing money at a dying unit, we'll say so and show you the math.
- Leave it clean. Drop cloths down, boots wiped, work area tidied before we go.
The honest version
We're a local service building a reputation one job at a time. We don't have decades of history to point at, so we earn trust the only way that works: fair prices quoted upfront, work done right, and straight answers when something's beyond us. If we're not the right fit for your job, we'll tell you that too.
